Jennifer Murphy is a San Francisco-based keyboard player involved in a variety of musical projects.

After a long, pandemic-induced hiatus, live music is finally returning to the Bay Area and Jennifer expects to add more gigs to her calendar as restrictions are lifted. Thanks for hanging in there and please check back periodically for updates.

For a long time, Jennifer wanted to do an arrangement of Hey Joe, popularized by Jimi Hendrix.  And here it is, featuring Jennifer on keys, Gary Brown on bass, and Deszon Claiborne on drums.

"During a visit to the Sausalito Art and Wine Festival, my colleague and I encountered Jennifer performing nearby on a tricycle. She has a fully operational keyboard on her trike that she can set up anywhere, and we loved her style. We booked Jennifer for the 8th Annual Concert for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals presented by Salesforce.org and found her flexible, fairly priced, and easy to work with. I recommend booking Jennifer for any type of event. "

“I saw Jennifer playing music one day on her trike and liked it so much that we ended up hiring her to play weekly on our waterfront patio. Jennifer created a fun, lively vibe and helped draw attention to our restaurant from people walking by. We’d be happy to have her play at Epic Steak again."

- Camille Dennie, Manager, Epic Steak, San Francisco

"Jennifer played in a trio at the Institute’s annual holiday event at Fort Mason. The music was a huge success! Jennifer kept the volume low enough for guests to converse at the cocktail hour, then ramped up the energy as the night wore on. Because our event was indoors, we had Jennifer use her regular setup. However, you should definitely go see her perform on her tricycle too.  Great fun!"
